CARE-INF™ Badges

CARE-INF™ badges signify verified participation and adherence to clinical readiness standards. All badges are governed by formal policies and may be revoked if misused or if standards are not maintained.

Profile Verified

Indicates a student has completed profile verification and their clinical snapshot is ready for sharing with preceptors and clinical partners.

Preceptor Certified

Awarded to preceptors who have completed onboarding, accepted CARE-INF™ terms of service, and meet clinical supervision standards.

Founding Partner

Recognizes schools and health systems that joined the CARE-INF™ Founding Cohort and help shape the national clinical infrastructure standard.

Governance & Policy

Badge Verification Standards

All badges are earned through verified processes designed to protect clinical education integrity. Each badge has specific criteria that must be met and maintained.

  • Profiles are verified by academic coordinators or designated institutional officials
  • Preceptors complete identity verification and background screening
  • Founding partners sign governance agreements and participate in standard-setting

Badge Revocation

Badges may be revoked if:

  • A student or preceptor misrepresents their profile or credentials
  • Behavioral or conduct issues are reported through escalation channels
  • Standards or verification requirements change and holder does not comply
  • A school or partner withdraws from the CARE-INF™ platform

Escalation & Appeals

If a badge is at risk of revocation, the badge holder will be notified and given an opportunity to address concerns through our formal escalation process. Appeals can be submitted within 30 days.

Governance Participation

Founding partners participate in a governance council that oversees badge standards, escalation policies, and platform evolution. This ensures CARE-INF™ remains aligned with clinical education best practices.
